After seven days of auctioning, Bulgaria's fixed-line operator BTC and two telecom start-ups, Nexcom and Orbitel, on October 31 were awarded three separate 10-year nationwide licences to provide point-to-multipoint wireless broadband services based on WiMAX technology.
