Via Net.Works Switzlerland starts WiMAX trial in Geneva

Alternative fixed network operator Via Net.Works Switzlerland and Swiss Wi-Fi service provider Swisswifi have launched a WiMAX trial network in Le Ligion in Geneva. The Le Ligion building holds 8,000 inhabitants who now can access internet without wires at speeds up to 100 Mbps. Via Net.Works's WiMAX trial is supported by Chinese carriers and wireless ISPs.
